Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Regent of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, H Muhammad Rusli attended a coordination meeting held by Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in order to strengthen regional heads to realize corruption-free governance after their inauguration.
KPK Chairperson Setyo Budiyanto emphasized that their commitment in implementing transparent governance is the main aspect that must be strengthened after inauguration.
"Regional heads have gone through a long process from education, training, to election, after inauguration and taking the oath, the most important thing is to maintain the commitment to implementing good goverance,” he remarked as reported on Thursday.
Together with the Regent were acting Regional Secretary of Kotabaru H Eka Saprudin and Inspector of Kotabaru H Ahmad Fitriadi attending the coordination meeting.
The presence of Kotabaru Regent was proof of his full commitment in supporting the realization of clean, transparent and accountable governance.
The coordination meeting was attended by regional heads from Yogyakarya, Central Java, East Java, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and South Kalimantan.
