Banjarmasin (South Kalimantan Antaranews) - The Banjarmasin National Narcotics Agency (BNNK) has rehabilitated over 200 addicts in 2015.
"We carry out this rehabilitation program on an outpatient basis," said Banjarmasin BNNK Chief AKBP Ilyas on Tuesday.
According to him, the rehabilitation program mainly concentrated in the province BNNP, while the addicts come voluntarily. Complete team of doctors and psychologists are available.
"We provide services to them for free, and this is a government program," he said.
Ilyas said the central government issued a policy this year to rehabilitate 100 thousand drug addicts nationwide. South Kalimantan province targeted to rehabilitate about 1,800 or more.
"Well, each district and municipality's BNNK targeted can carry at least 100 addicts rehabilitation. Banjarmasin has exceeded 100 percent," said Ilyas.
He explained that the people involved or caught up in the valley of narcotics in this area is quite large. BNNP has to work extra hard to curb it to spread more widely, on the other hand it continues to rehabilate the addicts.
