Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The District Government of Kotabaru will hold Tabligh Akbar, in the momentum of the district's 75th Anniversary as well as to support the 100-day work program of the Regent toward Kotabaru Berkah.
Acting Head of People's Welfare of the Kotabaru Administration Bakhruddin said it is hoped that the arrival of Muslim preacher KH Muhammad Zhofaruddin from Samarinda, East Kalimantan, can attract public attention to attend the tabligh akbar.
"We hope that the Tabligh Akbar activity will run smoothly, of course we also hope that the event receive good response and high enthusiasm from the community,” he said in Kotabaru, Monday.
The religious event, which is scheduled to be held on June 2, 2025 and to take place at Siring Laut, also aims to support the 100-day work program of the Regent in the field of religion.
In addition, the activity is also a place to increase knowledge an opportunity to maintain silaturahmi or good relationship in all levels of society.
