Barabai, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - An unscrupulous civil servant (PNS) was arrested by the Central Hulu Sungai (HST) Resort Police because he was found hiding sabu-sabu (crystal meth) in his mouth.
Head of the HST Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Sabana Atmojo in Barabai, Wednesday, said police officers saw a motorcyclist showing suspicious movements. The police stopped him and conducted a search.
From the search two packages of sabu-sabu found. By the rider, who allegedly unscrupulous civil servant, the sabu-sabu kept in his mouth.
"We never thought that the unscrupulous civil servant hides two packages sabu-sabu in his mouth," said the man who was a former Central Banjarmasin Police Chief.
The arrest of the person was conducted on Wednesday (3/1) afternoon, at around 11.30 am in Palajau Village, Pandawan Subdistrict, HST.
Previously, Drug Investigation Unit (Satresnarkoba) of the HST Resort Police received information from the community about a drug transaction with suspected perpetrator using motorcycles.
The perpetrator SM (45) along with the evidence of two packets sabu-sabu, one black Yamaha Vega Z motorcycle, and one Nokia cellphone was taken to the police for further investigation.
"The civil servant has committed a narcotic crime and charged under article 114 sub article 112 of Law No.35/2009 on Narcotics with the threat of punishment of at least 5 Years," he said.
