Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Head of South Kalimantan Development Planning Board (Bappeda) H Nurul Fajar Desira stated, insya Allah (God Willing) the construction of the Banjarbaru-Batulicin road will be completed in 2021.
"One of the focuses of the 2021 South Kalimantan Budget (APBD) is completing the Banjarbaru-Batulicin road," he said after attending the provincial DPRD plenary meeting in Banjarmain, Thurday (Oct 8, 2020).
However, the former head of the Banjarmasin Bappeda did not mention the nominal of the financing, except to say that there two bridges have to be completed on the freeway.
Besides, the 2021 budget, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, focuses on the economic recovery of the effected citizens, such as Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
"MSMEs players will receive training from planning to marketing," said Fajar Desira.
Previously Acting Governor H Rudy Resnawan explained that the provincial government is planning a regional revenue of IDR5.4 trillion. The planned revenue has decreased by 2.29 percent when compared to the 2020 budget.
Likewise, the planned 2021 regional expenditure is decreased by 7.25 percent compared to the 2020 budget.
He explained that the decrease in the 2021 draft budget was due to a decrease in transfer funds from Profit Sharing Funds (DBH), General Allocation Funds (DAU), and Regional Incentive Funds (DID).
