Again, a deprived victim who experience mental disorders found in the Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST) South Kalimantan.
Secretary of a social organization Rumah Manusia Foundation (RMF) Haris said in Barabai, HST capital, on Sunday, the victim lived in the village of Alat, sub-district Hantakan District, not far from the location of the two victims of deprivation, which was found a few days earlier.
"The victim is a woman aged around 45 years old her name is Wahidah currently placed by the family in a closed room measuring 3X2 meters locked from outside," he said, adding that the victim suffered a psychiatric disorder since about 15 years ago when her husband and two children died.
To date in the sub-District Hantakan there are three mental disorders deprived, consisting of two men and one woman. Since early 2013 there have been found nine patients with a psychiatric disorder in HST and is the most deprived compared to other districts in the region Banua Anam. In Banua Anam overall, consisting of six districts in South Kalimantan, found 13 patients with psychiatric disorders deprived since early 2013.
RMF is now preparing advocacy assistance to victims of deprivation, if the family object or no permit the victim to be treated in the Mental Hospital. RMF is in collaboration with the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) Faculty of Law, University of Lambung Mangkurat (UNLAM) Banjarmasin.
