Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Land electronic certification services are beginning to be provided in districts and cities in Indonesia. This is part of digital transformation conducted by the Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Ministry/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) with the hope of making the services easier for the community.
ATR Minister/Head of BPN Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) informed it after handing over three land electronic certificates for the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government's assets for sport stadium and office buildings.
He also handed over one land e-certificate for the Palangka Raya City Government assets with road designation.
“Our enthusiasm is that ATR Ministry/BPN is carrying digital transformation from conventional certificates to completely digital, we can check them at any time via our handphones. I hope that the rank of Central Kalimantan BPN to be more active in implementing digital transformation,” said Minister AHY in his remarks at the Central Kalimantan Governor Office as released by South Kalimantan BPN in Banjarbaru, Saturday.
On this occasion, two land certificates were also handed over for waqf land and two certificates for worship places.
“This is the activity that continues to be the daily task of ATR/BPN throughout Indonesia to assure that the national program of certification is in the spirit of Agrarian Reform,” said Minister AHY.

Governor of Central Kalimantan Sugianto Sabran appreciated land certification conducted by ATR Ministry/BPN through BPN and Land Offices in districts and cities.
He said that the hand over of this certificates was a form of good collaboration and coordination between the ATR Ministry/BPN with the Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan and the City Government of Palangka Raya.
“Through this activities, government and community receive legal certainty regarding land they own. Thank you for carrying out certification of the State Property in the form of granting Usage Rights on behalf of the Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan and the City Government of Palangka Raya,” said Sugianto Sabran.
Head of Central Kalimantan BPN Elijas B. Tjahajadi informed that the agency had issued as many as 53 land electronic certificates.
In the future, he said, Land Offices that implementing changing conventional certificates to electronic certificates will continue to increase.
“There are district and city land offices that will implement land electronic certificate and have received approval from ATR Minister/BPN Head, namely Palangka Raya, Barito Selatan, Murung Raya, Kotawaringin Timur, and Katingan," said Elijas B. Tjahajadi.
Minister AHY was accompanied by Minister Expert Staff for Community Participation and Regional Government Yulia Jaya Nirmawati, Special Staff and Minister Expert Staff, Head of the Public Relation of ATR Ministry/BPN Lampri.
Also present Head of Central Kalimantan BPN Office Elijas B. Tjahajadi, the provincial Leadership Communication Forum, as well as all heads of Land Office across Central Kalimantan.
