Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Executive producer of Koboy Kampus movie Rois Sunandar Maming said will incorporate Banjar culture,
including typical industries of South Kalimantan, in this movie. Rois previously successfully directed Dilan film.
During a press conference in Banjarmasin on Saturday (23/6), he said 69 Productions collaborates with The Panas Dalam movie and Bianglala in producing Koboy Kampus: Understanding the Panas Dalam.
"I hope the film that tells about ITB art student journey who founded the country in the country, until the formation of the Panas Dalam band will be much better than the Dilan movie, and loved by the audience," he said.
According to him, the film that also incorporates elements of comedy isone of the means and opportunities to promote the various potentials of South Kalimantan.
Moreover, some players are taken from South Kalimantan, so if this movie remembered by the audience, will be able to boost the potential of South Kalimantan to the national level.
Previously, the producer and director team had cast players in various regions, including Bandung. On Saturday (23/6) casting again held in Banjarmasin, precisely at Balairung Taman Budaya.
"We are trying, the result of this film, will be better than Dilan, so it will be able to gain national audiences," he said.
Tubagus Dedi, screenwriter for Koboy Kampus, said the filmtells about the friendship of ITB students coming from various areas in the archipelago, from Sumatra, Kalimantan, Java and others, then create various activities.
In the film that shoots centered in ITB, the five art students in the era of 1995 to 1998, chose activities with the theme of establishing state in the country, until finally formed the Panas Dalam band.
