Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The district government of Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan Province, has launched Digital Signature (Digis) app to implement a simple, adaptive and accountable bureaucracy.
Tanah Bumbu Acting Assistant for Government and People's Welfare M Putu Wisnu Wardhana here on Sunday said the launch of Digis app is part of the implementation of electronic-based government system (SPBE).
"This app is designed to simplify online submission and approval of official travel memos, which was previously done manually," said Wisnu.

In addition to speed up administrative process, Digis also makes it easier for superior to track and check employee official trips.
Administrative process can be more efficient, transperant, environmentally friendly, paperless, and legally recognized.
"Through Digis, we are getting closer to the ideals of Smart Government: a modern, responsive government oriented towards excellent public service," he said.
Wisnu hopes that all regional government employees understand, master and implement this app in their daily tasks. “Let's make Digis a joint step towards making a simple, adaptive, and accountable bureaucracy,” he said.
Head of Tanah Bumbu Communication, Informatics, Statistics and Cryptography Office (Diskominfo SP) Al Husain Mardani expounded that Digis is being developed specifically to support the digital-based process of submitting official travel orders (SPPD).
"With this app, paper use can be minimized, creating a more efficient, effective and transperant work system in managing official travel within the Tanah Bumbu District Government," he said.
