Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Commander of the Tanah Bumbu 1022 District Military Command (Kodim) Leutenant Colonel Zierda Aulia Salam stated that the 126th TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) in 2025 is a concrete step to accelerate the development of infrastructure in rural areas.
“The 126th TMMD program implemented by Kodim 1022/Tanah Bumbu focuses on road infrastructure development in Rejosari Village, Mentewe Sub-district, over one kilometers,” said Lt Col Zierda Aulia Salam in Batulicin, Monday.
He said the presence of Indonesian Army (TNI-AD) alongside the local government through its community service program TMMD is expected to bring a direct impact on improving community welfare.

“TMMD is not only a physical development program, it is also a means to stengthen togetherness and unity between TNI and people,” said Zierda.
Tanah Bumbu Regent H Andi Rudi Latif expressed his appreciation for the synergistic relationship and contribution of Kodim 1022 in supporting regional development.
“TMMD is a strategic collaboration between regional government and TNI to accelerate development and improve people's welfare,” said Regent Andi Rudi Latif.

One of the main objectives of this year's TMMD is the construction of connecting road between the residential areas of Rejosari Village and Islamic boarding school area and the Mentewe Sub-district office.
The TMMD's physical work, which began on Sunday (Octber 12) includes road paving and constructing stone embankment on both sides of the road to stengthen the structure and prevent puddle of water during rainy season.
Through the 126th TMMD, the Tanah Bumbu Kodim 1022 is expected to be a driving forece for development in rural areas, while stengthening relation between TNI personnel and the community in Tanah Bumbu.
