Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan 11/1 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Mayor Banjarbaru Nadjmi Adhani said ready to form a team to sweep illegal fees to act on any information or findings of levies beyond regulation.
"The team to be immediately formed and our target next week will be inaugrated, so they do their duties and functions," said mayor in Banjarbaru, Wednesday.
He said the establishment of an illegal levies eradication task force (popularly known as saber pungli) is a follow-up of a presidential directive who wants every region to form the team.
According to him, the team formation has been finalized by a meeting chaired by regional secretary (sekda) involved related elements in the municipal government and law enforcement officials, both police and prosecutor's office on Tuesday (10/1).
The team then ready to take action against any infringement relating to services in government agencies.
People are asked dare to report if they find illegal payments occur at the public service so that the government can take decisive action.
"We ask the community to report and every report will be followed up. Society as rapporteur is also no need to fear, because they considered as victim to be protected," he said.
