Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The government of Tanah Bumbu District, South Kalimantan, offers natural toruism of Batu Basuhud with a panorama of white rocks that spread widely to prospective tourists who want to visit.
"The district whose nickname "Bumi Bersujud" has a lot of tourism potential, one of them is Batu Besuhud natural tourism," said Karang Bintang Sub-district Head Syafruddin accompanied by Section Head of Trantib Des Rizal RRD in Batulicin, Tuesday.
This attraction is located in Sela Selilau Village, Karang Bintang Sub-district, which 26 km or 35 minutes from the district capital of Batulicin.
There are also some caves, gazebos, and tree houses at the location that are suitable as photo spot.
Currently, this natural attraction has begun to be crowded with local tourists on holidays.
To promote the potential, the Karang Bintang government in collaboration with all village government in the sub-district held a gathering in Batu Besuhud, Sunday, December 26, 2021.
It is hoped that it can drive the wheels of tourism inSela Selilau Village as well as Karang Bintang Sub-district, so it can lift the economy of the local community.
Batu Besuhud natural attraction is considered to have the potential to be developed and become a leading tourist destination in the future if it is managed properly.
"The tourist potential in Sela Selilau must be treated properly so that tourists are interested to enjoy the unique natural beauty of white rocks and caves in Batu Besuhud," said Syafruddin.
