Marabahan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor said Barito Kuala (Batola) District has great potential in the agriculture, food crops, and horticulture sectors.
"The evidence of Batola's great potential in the agricultural sector is at least proven by the implementation of World Food Day took place here," Governor H Sahbirin Noor said on the sidelines of the 59th Anniversary of Barito Kuala (Batola) District on Tuesday.
He appealed, the Batola Government and its people must be confident and optimistic that the region will rise and be more advanced than now by realizing a development orientation in balance and integration that is true quality and beneficial to the community.
He asked the Batola Government and the people in the area inflame their enthusiasm to continue building.
"Build for banua (the region) with a spirit of "Haram Manyarah Waja Sampai Ka Puting" (Never Surrender Till the End). Let us round up the determination to continue moving forward in building the region in a sustainable manner," said the governor.
Batola Regent Hj Noormiliyani said since inaugurated by the South Kalimantan Governor on November 4, 2017, she and the Deputy Regent H Rahmadian Noor had served 1 year and 2 months. The administration of government continues to progress and give many benefits to the community.
One of them is the Taman Sari Bunga road link that connects sub-district of Tamban, Anjir Muara, Mekasari, and Tabunganen.
Noormiliyani plans to continue construction to the south to connect four sub-districts, namely Kuripan, Tabukan, Bakumpai, and Marabahan or abbreviated as Kuta Bamara.
