Rantau, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Tapin district government, South Kalimantan Province, has once again won national achievement after being named as “Very Innovative” region at the 2025 Innovative Government Award (IGA) 2025.
The Regent of Tapin H Yamani stated that this 2025 IGA affirms the direction of development that emphasizes efficiency, technological adaptation, and easy access to services for the public.
“This achievement motivates us to continue making innovations that have a real impact to the public,” he said when confirmed in Rantau, Tapin capital, on Wednesday.
He said cross-regional government agencies (SKPD) performances play a significant role in encouraging the regional creativity program, from planning, service providing, to monitoring policy implementation.

“Innovationn is not a ceremonyu, but a real work that the benefits must be felt by the residents,” he said.
According to him, the district government will continue to strengthen innovation-based governance to increase the quality of public services to be more competitive, while also opening up opportunities for other awards relevant to regional development.
He explained that IGA is an appreciation from the central government to the regions that successfully developing creative programs, accelerating service access, and maintaning sustainable innovation within the government.
