Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning and National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Raja Juli Antoni stated that collaboration between the government and palm oil business actors will improve productivity as well as people's welfare, especially farmers.
Deputy Minister was speaking during socialization and coaching clinic on the right to cultivate (HGU) regulation and fulfillment as well as facilitation on community garden development (FPKM) in Jakarta, Thursday.
“With good cooperation, we hope there will be a legal certainty that guarantee you all to increase productivity. As for the government is to have more income with the aim of our welfare,” said Raja Juli as quoted from the South Kalimantan BPN press release in Banjarbaru, Friday.
He acknowledged that the similar problems related to productivity also face by various sectors. However, he is optimistic with the joint commitment of the government and business actors a joint solution will be found.

This call for collaboration is in line with the ATR Ministry/BPN's commitment to improve land administration and spatial planning.
“We have the desire to improve ourselves, a better governance, transparent, accountable, and serving. We are working to provide legal certainty, increase productivity, to improve the nation's welfare,” said Raja Juli.
Based on data from the Palm Oil Task Force on April 19, 2024, there were 537 palm oil plantation companies that did not have the right to cultivate (HGU).
“Of the 537 companies, 118 are in the process, and the remaining 313 have not yet fulfilled their HGU. We are trying to complete it with a faster pattern than regular HGU, which takes a lot of time. For instance, the measurement process will be faster,” said Raja Juli.
This activity was initiated by the Task Force for Improving Palm Oil Industry Governance and Optimizing State Revenue.
Also attending to accompany ATR Deputy Minister, were Director of Regulation and Determination of Land and Space Right Hasan Basri and Director of Cadastral Measurement and Mapping Herjon C.M. Panggabean.
Also representatives from the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment, Cabinet Secretary, and the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK RI).
