Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) has received One Map Policy for Better Governance award from Coordinating Ministry for Economic.
Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) received the award at the 2024 One Map Policy Summit at St. Regis Hotel, Jakarta, Thursday (July 11, 2024).
It was given for the Thematic Geospatial Information Geoportal (IGT) Land Spatial Policy product. It is an information system to accelerate the management of thematic geospatial data and information by adopting the One Map Policy compilation, integration and synchronization workflow.
ATR Ministry/BPN had completed 18 IGTs with priority themes that must be completed in the compilation and integration stage in 2024.
"Alhamdulillah (Thank God) by the end of June, 18 IGTs have reached the integration stage or achieving the target. However, quantitatively it is still not perfect. We will continue to perfect it until the end of 2024," said Minister AHY.

He said ATR Ministry/BPN keeps striving to improve the quality of land data which simultaneously can improve the quality of land services.
“We continue to accelerate validation and digitalization of land data, especially at the regional level, which will be the key to successful implementation of land e-certificate,” he said as quoted from South Kalimantan BPN press release in Banjarbaru.
In the last four months, the number of Land Office that have implemented electronic service has increased 25 times.
“We succeeded in increasing the number of Land Offices capable of running electronic services from 10 to 251,” AHY noted.
Related to One Map Policy, he expounded, ATR/BPN is facing at least three challanges in integrating that supports the policy.
“First, there is no data standardization for land Thematic Geospatial Information (IGT) in accordance with Indonesia's One Map and One Data Policy. Second, the integrated land and space database is still being processed. And the third, the available data cannot be accessed and utilized easily and transparently because it is still interoperable,” Minister AHY explained.
The 2024 One Map Policy Summit is a yearly agenda initiated by Coordinating Ministry for Economic with the aim to formulate ideas, suggestion and breakthroughs in responding challanges and continuation of One Map Policy and resolving discrepancies in space utilization after 2024.
The meeting, which as chaired by Coordinating Minister for Economic Airlangga Hartarto, also attended by Chief of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Moeldoko, Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi, Environment and Forestry (LHK) Minister Siti Nurbaya, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Harvick Hasnul Qalbi, and Deputy Minister for Home Affairs John Wempi Wetipo.
