Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Mayor H M Aditya Mufti Ariffin said Banjarbaru, which is 23 years old on April 20, 2022, is increasingly moving towards a city of the future as it is designated as the capital of South Kalimantan Province.
"The 23rd anniversary of Banjarbaru is not only getting more mature in term of age, but also getting strongest towards the city of the future in line with its satus as the capital of South Kalimantan," he said here on Wednesday.
Accoding to the mayor, the dignity as the provincial capital must be upheld and filled with various developments to support the progress of the city that is in harmony as the center of the provincial government.
"We invite all community and stakeholders to jointly realize Banjarbaru as a city of the future in lien with the vision and mission of Forward, Religius and Prosperous," said Aditya, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Wartono after the special plenary meeting of DPRD.
He said a plan as a priority program is being prepared to be realized in the next on year to support the acceleration of development of the provincial capital.
"The priority planning will be realized in 2023, namely the revision of the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) that is in line with pronvial's RTRW and is described in more detail in the Banjarbaru Spatial Detail Plan," he said.
