Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Schools in South Kalimantan must have rules that require students to undergo drug rehabilitation, if proven to consume the illicit goods.
"Schools should have such strict rules so that any student will be known early whether he is drug user or not," said the Head of Prevention and Community Empowerment of the South Kalimantan National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) H Ipansyah MM in Banjarmasin on Saturday.
He said that strict rules are applied, and it was nice to anticipate trafficking and drug abuse amongs student or the school.
In addition, the school can ask the BNNP to do a urine test to students when there is a suspicion of drug abuse.
According to him, if a teacher find his student taking drugs, he can report to BNNP and ask for rehabilitation of the students with the consent of his parent.
"Rules of rehabilitation if the student likes to consume drugs, then we do a test eight times outpatient at BNNP South Kalimantan office. However, if the student addicted, he will immediately rehabilatated," he said.
To note some time ago BNNP, took a sample of urine test to students at several high schools (SMA) in Banjarmasin. Of 42 students tested, most were positive taking drugs.
