Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - A member of the Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, Legislative Council (DPRD) Rahmad stated he prioritize and advocate for education and health in the outmost area bordering South and North Kalimantan.
This National Mandate Party (PAN) cadre was speaking while attending National Teachers' Day (HGN) at SDN 1 Sengayam, Pamukan Barat Sub-district, currently.
"I am ready to oversee and fight for the realization of accessible education and public health, within my capabilities and authority," he said in Kotabaru via voice note broadcast on Wednesday.
He emphasized that basic needs such as health and education require serious attention, especially in remote areas directly bordering with North Kalimantan Province.
He then shared his experiecnce as a teacher, which he hopes will inspire newly appointed part-time PPPK to be even more enthusiastic in their service.
"For those who have not yet been appointed as part-time PPPK, don't be discourage. We are still working hard to secure insenda (regional incentives)," he said.
On the occasion, Rahmad presented gifts as an appreciation to teachers who entering retirement, and also participated in a blood donation.
The presentation of gifts, souvenirs, and appreciation fostered a lasting bond and honored the teachers for their dedication.
