Barabai, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The 112th TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD), which was officially opened by Deputy Regent of Central Hulu Sungai (HST) H Mansyah Sabri on September 15, 2021, to carry out physical construction of the district.
"The budget to support the TMMD program from HST government is Rp1 billion and an additional Rp90 million from South Kalimantan Village Community Empowerment (PMD)," said Commander of 1002/HST District Military Command (Kodim 1002/HT) Lt. Col. Inf. Muh Ishak HB.
He explained that the physical development target is to improve the quality of road along 1,725 meters and a width of 4 meters in Rantau Keminting Village, Labuan Amas Utara Sub-district.
It includes the installation of 1,034 meters long road foundation and the repair of two bridges. "There are additional targets, namely the renovation of a mushala (small worship place) in Kasarangan Village, and one uninhabitable house in Rantau Keminting Village," he said.
The TMMD also carries out non-physical activities in the form of social activities and counseling, such as family planning service, free medical treatment, distribution of basic food, and vaccination.
"Counseling activities include counseling on state defense, national insight, health, agriculture, anti-drugs, health family, fisheries/animal husbandry, the danger of terrorism and radicalism, prevention of COVID-19 transmission, posyandu, stunting, and Posbindu PTM," he said.
There 150 Kodim 1002/HST personnel and an local residents involved in the TMMD program. The pre-TMMD started from August 7 to September 14, 2021, and the implementation stage begins from September 15 to October 14, 2021.
"We are determined to complete all the targets by 100 percent. Even though we face uncertain weather conditions, we will maximize all existing potential although to carry out night overtime," said the Commander.
Deputy Regent Mansyah Sabri greatly appreciated and thanked the ranks of TNI who are directly involved in the development of the HST District.
"Hopefully the results of the development of this TMMD program can be enjoyed and cared for by the community so that their benefits can continue to be felt to support for daily life," he said.
