Marabahan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Barito Kuala (Batola) government spokesperson for COVID-19 Emergency Response Hj Azizah Sri Widari reported that the number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in the district continued to decline.
According to her, the remaining case in the Bumi Ije Jela (nickname of Batola) was 26 following the recovery of six patients on Wednesday (Oct 7, 2020).
“Today there is no additional confirmed positive patients, while six patients have recovered,” said Hj Azizah Sri Widari in a press statement in Marabahan.
The woman, who is also the head of Health Office, said that the six recovered patients were one from Anjir Pasar and five from Tamban Subdistricts.

Azizah said, with the new six recoveries, the total number of patients recovered in Batola was 607 (94.69 percent) and patients died 8 (1.25 percent) of the total 641 confirmed positive cases, so the remaining active cases were 26 (4.06 percent).
21 patients of them were underwent treatment, namely 2 at the Anshari Saleh Hospital Banjarmasin, 1 at the Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin, 3 at the Bhayangkara Hospital Banjarmasin, 13 at the Provincial Quarantine, and 2 at the SKB Marabahan Quarantine.
While the other five, she explained, underwent independent isolation.
