Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Regent H Sayed Jafar asked the Kotabaru Haj prospectives pilgrims to perform the Hajj worship in an orderly and khusyu (solemn manner) while in the holy land.
He was speaking when seeing off the Kotabaru pilgrims to the Banjarbaru Hajj Dormitory.
"Obey the rules and guidance of the officers, and don't forget to take care of your health and physical endurance, because the weather is very different," said the Regent in the main room of the Husnul Khatimah Mosque in Kotabaru on Saturday.
During the implementation of the fifth pillar of Islam, he also advised that the pilgrims to guard the good name of the region, help each other with fellow worshipers, and pray for the progress of the region.
"To the officers, both TPHD and the heads of groups and team leaders to be able to carry out their duties well and provide services to worshipers with full responsibility and patience," he hoped.

Acting Head of Kotabaru Office of Religious Affairs H Suni said the pilgrims departed this year amounted to 219 people. "The youngest age is 23 years and the oldest is 94 years," he said.
A total of 197 people were joined in the BDJ 09 flight group and were scheduled to leave for Medina on July 22, 2019. While the remaining pilgrims were additional pilgrims joined in the BDJ 19 flight group will depart on the final directly to Makkah.

"Hopefully the departure will run smoothly, in an orderly, safe and coordinated manner, safely to the destination and return safely back to Kotabaru," he concluded.
