Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Deputy Regent of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, Syairi Mukhlis continued his Ramadan 1446 Hijri Safari in Bungkukan Village, Kelumpang Barat Sub-district.
Syairi Mukhlis thanked the people of Kelumpang Barat Sub-district for trusting Rusli-Syairi pair to lead Kotabaru toward Kotabaru Hebat.
"My deepest gratitude to the people of Kelumpang Barat, especially the extended family in Bungkukan and Siayuh villages, alhamdulillah at the last regional head election we won. The biggest victory especially from 22 sub-districts (kecamatan) aproximately 73 percent," he pointed out in Kotabaru as reported on Tuesday.
He said, with this great mandate we also renew it with great vision and mission to advance Kotabaru District to be harmonious, energetic, united, trustworthy and resilient (or what called as Kotabaru Hebat).

Several sectors are priority programs that must be encouraged, developed, and completed, are education with a mission of quality education according to their campaign promises.
Other sector related to infrastructure considering that some roads are still damaged make it difficult to transport agricultural, plantation and other products out, and causing their economic value to decline.
"Therefore, in order to increase economic growth in Kotabaru our main target is to overcome the condition of damaged roads for connectivity between villages, sub-districts and districts, so as to facilitate and smooth the movement of people and goods," he expounded.
Deputy Regent also distributed a number of assistances. From the Health Office two Kotabaru Health cards for two recipient, and 5 supplementary food to prevent stunting for pregnant women, toddlers, and teenage girls.
From Social Office were Disability Program Rp2.4 million, unhabitable house renovation for two recipients each received Rp20 million.
From Public Housing, Settlement and Land Office also unhabitable house renovation for five recipients with a value of Rp25 million each.
The Education and Culture Office provided incentive for cleaning officers/maintainers of Rasyidi Cave Reserve Structure amounting Rp6.750 million.
Deputy Regent also handed over scholarship for SD/MI or elementary school Rp8.250 million and for senior high school Rp14 million.
The ceremony was also attended by the Kotabaru government's assistant and expert staff, heads of government working units, acting Head of Kelumpang Barat Sub-district, as well as religious and community leaders.
