Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Management of Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin opens business opportunities and cooperation with potential business partners as new terminals will be operational in 2019.
PT Angkasa Pura I as the airport manager offers the business opportunity through "Tenant Gathering" on Monday by gathering business partners, prospective business partners, business and brands owners.
"We want to introduce business potential in the new Syamsudin Noor Airport terminal which is targeted to start operating 2019," said Vice President Non-Aeronautical Business Ahmad Syaugi Shahab.
He said the momentum of the tenant gathering was also used to strengthen relations with business partners who do business at the largest airport in South Kalimantan located in the city of Banjarbaru.
It is also a forum for communication and synergizing strategies and collaborative plans with business partners and prospective business partners, so they can more optimally take advantage of business opportunities.
"We are preparing a special place for business partners and prospective business partners to run their businesses, including preparing a place for small and medium micro-business people," said Syaugi, who was accompanied by Airport General Manager Indah Preastuty.
During 2017 Syamsudin Noor served 3.7 million passengers, even though the terminal capacity was only 1.3 million passengers per year.
"Over the past ten years, passenger growth at the airport has reached 9.05 percent, so it is quite high and must be addressed through the readiness of infrastructure, that is the new terminal," he said.
