Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Inspector General Yazid Fanani went to the Islamic boarding school and orphanage to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of Bhayangkara. He asked the santri and orphans to pray for the security and public order (kamtibmas) to be conducive.
"Prayers from the community, especially the orphans and santri and the caregiver ulamas, we always hope in carrying out the tasks of the National Police (Polri), may Allah SWT always protect," said the Chief of Police
Accompanied by his wife Rinny Yazid Fanani and a number of key officials of the South Kalimantan Regional Police, the Police Chief visited Darul Ilmi Islamic Boarding School in Banjarbaru and Putra Asri Orphanage in Pasar Kamis Village, Km 10 South Ring Road, Banjar District, Friday (6/28).
According to Yazid, the visit was a manifestation of Polri's concern for the community on the Bhayangkara Day which falls on July 1.
On that occasion, the Police Chief provided motivation and enthusiasm for residents of Islamic boarding schools and orphanages to continue their enthusiasm for learning to achieve their dreams.
"Who knows, among these children, there will be someone who will become a member of the National Police. Of course, the National Police really hope for the best sons and daughters of the nation who become Bhayangkara people," he said.
