Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Idaman Regional Hospital (RSD) in Banjarbaru city, South Kalimantan, received a prestigious international award,the WSO Angels Awards Q3 2025 with "Gold Status" for its excellent achievemet in stroke patient care at the hospital.
The award was handed over by representative of World Stroke Organization (WSO) dr. Fransisca Kristina Elisabet to the Director of Idaman Hospital dr. Danny Indrawardhana, MMRS in Banjarbaru, Wednesday.
"This award is a concrete manifestation of the commitment of all medical team and management of Idaman Hospital to providing fast, precise, measurable stroke care that align with the international standards," said the director.

He explained that Gold Status indicates that the hospital has met important indicators for stroke care, including speed of diagnosis, accuracy of treatment, and quality of ongoing patient care.
WSO Angels Award is an award from World Stroke Organization (WSO) in coolaboration with the Angels Initiative. It aims to recognize and encourage hospital all over the world to continuously improve the quality of stroke care.
The assessment is based on data input into international registries such as RES-Q or SITS, and measured by various award levels ranging from Gold, Platinum, to Diamond.
"The entiore team of Idaman Hospital is ready to improve the quality of healthcare, especially stroke, while also serving as reference for other healthcare facilities in improving data-based and quality service standards," saidDanny.
