Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The South Kalimantan Provincial Government together with East Java won the best national in the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) as assessed by the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Ministry.
Governor H Sahbirin Noor, accompanied by Provincial Secretary H Abdul Haris, received the award as the best province to organize SAKIP from Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister Syafruddin at the region 2 of regional leaders meeting in Banjarmasin, Wednesday.
Region 2 covers Jakarta, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Lampung, and North Kalimantan.
In 2017, South Kalimantan won the best medium for the category of BB, but this year the government lead by Governor H Sahbirin Noor and Deputy Governor H Rudy Resnawan has risen the grade to the highest, even won the best for region 2.
Minister Syafruddin appreciated regional leaders who have encouraged and realized the performance-based good government. While, the implementation of SAKIP, according to him, is one of the preventives to avoid a budget from being inefficient and to create the best result-based performance.
"Congratulation to South Kalimantan and East Java Government for winning the A category in region 2. This is a proud achievement as a realization of measured commitment to realize performance-result oriented government," he said.
Governor H Sahbirin Noor revealed the performance achievements implemented by the provincial government to successfully achieve the value of SAKIP A is a collective work.
According to him, collaboration, solidity, and enthusiasm for work are supported by the participation of all components of the community as the main factor driving the achievement of the provincial government.
