Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - A total of 2,053 pregnant women from 13 districts and cities in South Kalimantan who took part in the education of the "Content of My Dish" won the record of the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI).
"Thank God, we have a MURI record because this is the first time in Indonesia, even the world, pregnant women gather as many of these," said Chairwoman of the South Kalimantan Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK) Hj Raudatul Jannah, Thursday (10/18).
Located in the courtyard of the South Kalimantan Provincial Government Office in Banjarbaru, the event entitled "Education of the Content of My Dishes for Pregnant Woman" was held in a series to enliven the 38th World Food Day (HPS) in 2018.
Raudatul Jannah admitted, initially she only intended to collect 2018 pregnant women according to the number of this year. But lately many are enthusiastic and want to participate.
"MURI's record is only a bonus, but more importantly our efforts to educate pregnant women together to realize their nutritional needs to prevent stunting and protect families in the first 1,000 days of life," said the wife of South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor.
She hopes the education movement will continue in the districts and cities. Pregnant women who have not had the opportunity can participate in similar events to be educated properly and correctly.
While the Minister of Health Nila Moeloek, presented her message and direction to pregnant women to always maintain their contents by paying attention to nutritional needs and implementing a healthy lifestyle.
She also appreciated the event which she thought was extraordinarily good. Moreover, it can gather a lot of pregnant women.
"It's not easy to bring pregnant women like this. Even each group must be accompanied by an ambulance and a doctor. I really appreciate the extraordinary work of the wife of the governor," he said.
