Banjarmasin, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - Bhayangkara Hospital in Banjarmasin has completed health checks for governor and deputy governor candidates who run for the 2024 regioal head election(Pilkada 2024).
"We will hand over the results of examination to the Regional Election Commission (KPUD) for the purpose of evaluation and completing candidate's administration," said Head the South Kalimantan Regional Police's Health and Medical Division (Bid-Dokkes) Sr. Comr Pol. dr. Muhammad El Yandiko here, Monday.
He expounded that there are 30 items of examination that include analysis of health, mental (spiritual), physical, mandatory support and other support.
The candidate also has to undergo drug test. The test involved officers from the Provincial Drug Agency ((BNNP).

Yandiko expressed his thanks to all doctors ad medical officers involved in the health examination of the candidates.
Including personnel from South Kalimantan Regional Police and Banjarmasin City Police who were on full alert to ensure the security during the health checks.
Chairperson of South Kalimantan KPUD Andi Tenri Sompa said that health check is a stage that the candidates must undergo.
After three days registration from Augusat 27 to 29, KPUD then examines document files of candidates until September 21, 2024.
The candidate pairs will be determined on September 22, 2024 and will then enter a two-month campaign period before voting day on November 27, 2024.
Two pairs candidates had registered and had been declared eligible by KPUD are the pair of Raudatul Jannah and Akhmad Rozanie Himawan and the pair of Muhidin and Hasnuryadi.
