Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Access road to Lowo Cave, one of Kotabaru's natural attraction, which is in Tegal Rejo Village, Kelumpang Hilir Sub-district, is now being improved.
Kotabaru Regent H Sayed Jafar said that Lowo Cave is one of the favorite destination, both for local and also tourists from outside the district or outside the province.
"With the pavement of access road to Lowo Cave Tegalrejo and the road section of Mandala Village, it is hoped to facilitate the flow of transportation and push the economy in this rapidly growing area," said the regent as reported on Sunday.
The road improvement, which was funded by the compensation fund of the coal mining company PT Sebuku Coal Group, has reached 90 percent.
The program of Tegalrejo-Mandala, Kelumpang Hilir, road pavement, which is approximately 7.8 kilometers long, costs around Rp10 billion.
