Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Kotabaru Legislative Council (DPRD) Speaker Suwanti took part to enliven trail community event Trabas Hebat 02 in Lowo Cave tourist attraction, Kelumpang Hilir Sun-district, Kotabaru, Sunday.
"We support this event as a mean to fosterng silaturahmi or friendship and promoting local tourism," said Suwanti.
Meanwhile, Deputy Regent Syairi Mukhli said the trail game event was held in the momentum of the 75th Anniversary of Kotabaru. The government collaborated with Club TAT Serongga and Trail X Saijaan.
"Approximately 1,000 riders take part in the event, this is an extraordinary number," he said.
In addition, Trabas Hayau Barait Hebat was also held for amateur track to liven up with different concept.
"Hopefully Hayau Barait Hebat and Trabas Hayau Barait Hebat in Kotabaru will be attended by motr participants," he hoped.
He also asked riders, who were coming from various regions, to maintain and prioritize safety.
Secretary of Trail X Saijaan Amang said the trail adventure was held as silaturahmi among riders from Kotabaru and various other regions."Trabas Hebat 2 has been running for two years to strengthen ties of frienship (silaturahmi) between trail riders throughout Borneo, as well as to welcome Kotabaru's anniversary and of course to develop sports and increasing the economy of community around Lowo cave natural tourist area," said Amang.
