Kandangan, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The District Government of Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS), South Kalimantan, has achieved the highest Bureaucratic Reform (RB) Index in Kalimantan, with a general RB score of 81 points.
The State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Minister Rini Widyantini handed over the award to HSS Regent H Syafrudin Noor at a coordination meeting on 2025-2029 bureaucratic reform policies in Jakarta, Wednesday (April 30, 2025).
"Thank you to all ranks of HSS government who have worked well, that we can achieve the highest RB index from RB Ministry," said the Regent in a statement released by HSS Diskominfo (Communication and Informatics Office), Thursday (May 1, 2025).

He said, HSS goverment won the achievement thanks to their joint hard work and it is hoped to continue to be a motivation for a better public services in the future.
The Regent emphasized that this achievement was the beginning of a long journey towards public services that are more humanistic and have a real impact on the community.
“We from the HSS government are committed to continue our efforts to improve the quality of public services in HSS District,” he pointed out.
Previouysly, RB Minister Rini Widyantini said that the RB Ministry continue to be committed in overseeing improvements in governance through bureaucratic reform.
With the evaluation through coordination meeting, her party wanted to realize a bureacratic that has a positive impact on the society.
The coordination meeting was a moment to align steps, and assure that bureaucratic reform doest not stop at the procedural aspects, but producing real impact on society.
“We hope this evaluation can encourage improvements of public service govenance, budget efficiency, and a decrease in corruption rates,” she said.
