Marabahan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The spokesperson of the Barito Kuala Task Force for Acceleration Handling (GTPP) of COVID-19 Hj Azizah Sri Widari expressed her gratitude for COVID-19 cases in the district continue to decline.
"Alhamdulillah, COVID-19 cases in Barito Kuala continue to show a decreasing rate," said Hj Azizah Sri Widari in Marabahan, Monday (Oct 5, 2020).
She was also grateful that that day six more patients from Barito Kuala (Batola) were declared cured.
Thus, she said, the total number of patients recovered from COVID-19 in the Bumi Ije Jela (nickname of Barito Kuala) reached 601 (93,76 percent), while 8 (1,25 percent) patients died, and the total confirmed cases were 641, so the remaining active cases were 32 (4,99 percent).
“Of these 32 active cases, 26 were under treatment, namely at the Anshari Saleh Hospital Banjarmasin 2, Ulin Hospital 1, Bhayangkara Hospital 3, at the Provincial Quarantine 18, and at the SKB Marabahan Quarantine 2. While other six people underwent independent isolation at home,” said Hj Azizah Sri Widari.
Regarding the six recovered patients, Azizah who is also the head of Health Office said, they came from Alalak Subdistrict 3, from Marabahan 2, and from Anjir Pasar 1.
