Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The district government of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan Province, held a socialization and panel discussion on the results of the 2025 Integrity Assessment Survey (SPI) to mark the 2025 World Anti-Corruption Day (Hakordia).
Assistant I for Government and People's Welfare H Minggu Basuki said the commemoration is not merely a ceremonial activity, but a momentum to reaffirm a shared commitment to building a cleas, transparent, and accountable government.
"Corruption is an extraordinary crime not only harms state finances but destroys public trust and hinders development and public welfare," he remarked here on Tuesday.

He said the Kotabaru government continues to strengthen its corruption prevention system by improving the integrity of its apparatus, strengthening its internal control system, and fostering close synergy with the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), the Government Internal Supervisory Agency (APIP), and Law Enforcement Agencies (APH).
Meanwhile, the results of 2025 SPI are expected to serve as a basis for continuous evaluation and improvement for the district government.
“We urge all government apparatus to make integrity a core value in carrying out every duty and responsibility and to have the courage to reject and fight against all form of corruption, collusion, and nepotism,” he pointed out.

Presentations and a panel Q&A session were conducted by featuring speakers from Kotabaru Regional Inspector H. Akhmad Fitriadi Fazrianor, Head of the Corruption Eradication Unit of the Kotabaru Police First Inspector Muhammad Dhito, and Head of Intelligence Sub-Division II of the Kotabaru Prosecutor's Office Diki Priyo Jatmiko.
The event concluded with the hope that 2025 World Anti-Corruption Day would provide a real benefits in improving the quality of governance and public trust in Kotabaru District.
It was attended by the Kotabaru Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), representative of the South Kalimantan Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), expert staff, assistancts, heads of government working units (SKPDs), and representatives of Kotabaru regional government-owned enterprises (BUMD).
