Rantau, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) is ready to help renovate the school buildings in the district of Tapin.
Head of South Kalimantan Regional Hall of Settlement Infrastructure Dradjat Widjunarso was speaking at the hall of the Tapin Planning, Research, and Development Office (Bapelitbangda) here on Monday.
"Yes, we from the Ministry of PUPR are ready to assist the construction of school buildings through Director of Strategic Infrastructure," he remarked.
Dradjat explained that among the items are building education, sports, and market facilities.
"What we prioritize to get renovation or repair assistance in the category of public school with heavy damage," he said to the media.

However, before being included in the list of improvements by the PUPR, there will be a team to conduct a study to see firsthand the condition of the school whether it is appropriate to receive assistance.
"We will build a new one," he said again.
Regent of Tapin HM Arifin Arpan warmly welcomed the statement of the head of South Kalimantan Regional Hall of Settlement Infrastructure to be ready to help improve educational facilities in Tapin.
"We will always open to the assistance of the central government in building infrastructure in Tapin," said the regent.
