Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Adaro MetCoal Companies (AMC) has again proved its commitment to assist the government in the fight against the COVID-19 in Indonesia, one of which is in the City of Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan Province.
On Tuesday (July 28, 2020) AMC's Government Relation Ramon Ramba Akob handed over COVENT-20 ventilators to Director of Doris Silvanus Palangkaraya Hospital, drg Yayu Indriati.
“Adaro has a commitment to help the government in the fight against the pandemic in Indonesia by continue to distribute assistance to the frontline of COVID-19 handling,” Ramon remarked.
The company viewed the problem not only as of the government's responsibility, but also other parties, including private company to work together in combat against the corona outbreak.
The assistance of a set of COVENT-20 ventilators as a result of Adaro's collaboration with the University of Indonesia's Faculty of Engineering in the fight against the pandemic.
“We are trying to distribute them as effective as possible, including to two hospitals in the AMC's operational area, namely Doris Silvanus Hospital and Puruk Cahu Hospital," Ramon said.
The management of Doris Silvanus Hospital thanked for the assistance provided by Adaro for supporting it in the treatment of corona patients.
“We really need this breathing device in handling COVID-19 patients in the hospital, especially in the intensive care room," Yayu said.
The ventilator will certainly add the ability of the hospital to provide the best treatment for confirmed positive patients.
