Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - One of Adaro Energy Indonesia's subsidiaries, PT Mustika Indah Permai (MIP), provided free school uniforms and equipments to village communities in its operational area in Lahat District, South Sumatra, through "One Uniform a Million Hope” program.
PT MIP President Director Mulyadi Wibowo in his written statement received here on Friday said that the aid was a form of the company's commitment and concern for the development of education in Lahat District.
"This program is a real form of Adaro Group's concern for the future of Indonesian children in 2025, in accordance with the direction of President of Indonesia," said Mulyadi.

He acknolwledged that the contribution of "One Uniform a Million Hope” program cannot be separated from the role of Adaro Foundation (YABN) and Rumah Zakat that it was successful.
The coalmine company's President Director said that the implementation process was quite complex and the company had collected about a thousand package of school uniforms in Lahat area.
"We are very grateful and hope this school uniform package can help providing enthusiasm of studyinf for elementary school students in Merapi Barat Sub-district and Merapi Timur Sub-district," he pointed out.
He hopes this assistance will motivate school students to continue learning and grow into people with morals and contribute to Lahat.
During the handover ceremony, Regent of Lahat Bursah Zarnubi and Deputy Regent Widia Ningsih also handed over the assistance to elementary school students of SD Negeri 2 Kebur Village, Merapi Barat Sub-district, on Wednesday (April 16, 2025).
Mulyadi Wibowo and his staff, Chairperson of Adaro Foundation Zuraida Murdia Hamdi, head of Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD), Principal of SDN 2 Merapi Barat, sub-district head and six village heads, as well as other invited guests.
Lahat Regent Bursah Zarnubi appreciated this program and expressed his gratitude for the company's concern to the world of education in Lahat District.
Through this activity, Adaro is expected not only providing school uniforms but also instill hope for Indonesian children to continue to dream, strive, and achieve their dreams in the future.
