Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Kotabaru Regent H Muhammad Rusli inaugurated three intertime replacement village heads for Tamiyang Village, Teluk Sungai Village, and Baharu Utara Village.
The Regent congratulated the three who were officially inducted as village heads today.
"This position is a mandate from the community and must be carried out with full responsibility, integrity and dedication," he said on Monday.
The Regent explained that the inauguration was conducted to fill the vacancies in three villages.
Those inaugurated were Hormansyah as Tamiang Village Head in Pamukan Utara Sub-district, Abdurrahman as Teluk Sungai Village Head in Pulau Sembilan Sub-district, and Zamzanie as Baharu Utara Village Head in Pulau Laut Sigam Sub-district. They will serve until 2026.
As village heads, they are required to be fair, transparent and visioner leaders. Carrying out duties by prioritizing service to the community, managing village finance accountably, and maintaining stability and harmony in the village.
“I remind village heads to always participate in encouraging the realization of the vision of the Kotabaru that we love, namely Kotabaru great, harmony, energetic, united, trustworthy and resilient,” he said.
