Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Snakehead fish, popularly dish in Banjar community and known as iwak haruan, gave the highest share of inflation rate in November.
"Other commodities with the highest share are chicken meat, tilapia, chicken eggs, and shallot," Head of South Kalimantan Central statistics Agency (BPS) Diah Utami said here, Monday (Dec 2, 2019).
She said, South Kalimantan's inflation rate, which was a combined of Banjarmasin and Tanjung, stood at 0.23 percent in November with consumer price index of 139.35.

BPS has recorded an inflation rate of 0.17 percent in Banjarmasin in November with an annual rate of 4.28 percent, while in Tanjung it reached 0.97 percent with YoY rate of 2.79 percent.
"Banjarmasin's November inflation rate to December 2019 is 3.56 percent, and 2.10 percent in Tanjung," she said.
