Rantau, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Police Chief of Salam Babaris Subdistrict in Tapin Secon Police Inspector (Ipda) Sofian Noor prepared drilled wells to assist people in his duty areas who have difficulty getting clean water.
Many people in two villages, Salam Babaris and Pantai Cabe, complained about the difficulty of getting clean water. Responding to the complaint, he was moved to realize the availability of clean water in the region.
"We try to find donors or assistance to be able to realize the availability of clean water," he said.
The effort, he added, was quite successful. Among other things, mining company PT Binuang Mitra Bersama (BMB) is willing to build a drilled well for the benefit of citizens by using CSR funds.
"There will be two drilled wells that are definitely for the benefit of society, places of worship, and education," he said again.
Meanwhile, Tapin Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Bagus Suseno said that it is natural that members of the police force should play a role in the prosperity of their people.
"Of course we will continue to appreciate and support such activities with the aim to prosper the community," said Chief of Police.
