Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan 13/9 (AntaranewsKalsel) - As many as 12 Haj pilgrims from Banjarmasin Embarkation passed away in the Holy Land of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, said Head of South Kalimantan Office of the Religous Affairs Ministry H Noor Fahmi here, Wednesday.
He said there were three more Haj pilgrims passed away and increased the previous number to become 12.
The 12 Haj pilgrims who passed away are Surita Hartini Maserun (flight group 03), Thanthantawi Dardjad Hasbullah (03), Mahmudin Jamberi Hasan Baseri (03), Suharto Samidin Sonorejo (16), Muhammad Zaini Antar (17), Nafsiah Kaderi Hasim (06), Aminah Karim Tamin (16).
Then Hamdi Sium Abdullah (16), Hj Megawati binti Suni (14), H Rusli bin Hasnudin (15), Saniah Diris Jurai (17), dan Hj Siti Aminah Utut Asri (04).
Meanwhile, some other Haj pilgrims being treated in the Saudi hospital are Sofyan Muhammad ahmad (65) from Banjar District, Sayuti Suni Tuhalui (69) from Barabai, HST, and Marnah Unu Dampam (65) from Walangku, HST.
"They are from flight group 02 and 03. Their conditions are kept being monitored," he said.
Actually, Noor Fahmi said, they were 16 of Haj pilgrims from Banjarmasin Embarkation who passed away as four others from Central Kalimantan.
So far 966 South Kalimantan's Haj pilgrims of three flight groups have arrived in the homeland. The province this year embarked 3.831 people for the holy worship.
According to him, the arrival began from September 9 to ends on October 5, 2017. Nine flight groups has been and to be sent home from King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah, while eight others to fly from Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Azis Internasional Airport, Medina.
