Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The South Kalimantan Representative Office of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK-RI) held an entry meeting prior to the audit of the 2025 Regional Financial Report (LKPD) within the Kotabaru District Government.
Kotabaru Regional Secretary H Eka Saprudin said that the audit is a routine annual activity aim at assisting the district government and its working units or agencies (SKPDs) in managing the finances effectively and according to the standards.
"Please communicate with the team to continue monitoring the inspection and follow up immediately," he said in Kotabaru, as reported on Wednesday.

He explained that the BPK team acts as an independent oversight partner in financial management, and Kotabaru is expected to achieve an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) as a form of accountability to the public.
"Hopefully, with this audit, Kotabaru will once again achieve an Unqualified Opinion (WTP)," he said.
BPK-RI Audit Team Chair Arif Kurniawan informed that the audit period will run from February 2 to March 1, 2026, and will include an examination of the Regional Financial Report, revenue, and expenditure realization from all government agencies (SKPDs).
The entry meeting is expected to foster good coordination between the BPK and the Kotabaru District Government, ensuring an effective, transparent, and accountable audit process.
