Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Kotabaru H Eka Saprudin confirmed the district government's commitment to accelerate the completion of the BPK's audit result recommendations (TLRHP) for second semester 2025.
“We will immediately summon all government agencies (SKPD) to folow up on the audit recommendations, so they will be completed before the December 2025 deadline. We hope Kotabaru's follow-up progress will improve and no longer at the bottom,” he said here as reported on Monday.
Speaker of Kotabaru Legislative Council (DPRD) Hj Suwanti stated that legislature is ready to oversee the Kotabaru government's step regarding the second semester TLRHP 2025 as expected by the South Kalimantan Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Representative.

"We will coordinate and encourage the acceleration, so that Kotabaru's ranking can improve,” she said.
Previously, the Governor of South Kalimantan H Muhidin urged all regional governments to seriously expedite the completion of following-up the audit results recommendations.
“This is a crucial opportunity to improve our governace. There are still more than 400 recommendations to be followed-up. I hope the districts/cities can cooperate optimally so that all follow-up actions can be completed before the deadline,” he stressed.

Head of South Kalimantan BPK Andriyanto expressed his appreciation for the commitment of local governments, including Kotabaru, in accelerating the follow-up to audit recommendations.
“Efforts to expedite the completion of TLRHP are crucial to supporting the realization of clean, transparent and accountable regional financuial governance. We hope that collaboration between the regional government and BPK will continue to be stengthened to improve the quality of financial reports and public services,” he said.
