Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The South Kalimantan Office of Ministry of Religious Affairs announced six pilgrims from Banjarmasin Embarkation died in holy land till 2 September 2017.
Head of the regional office of the ministry H Noor Fahmi here on Monday said the latest data recorded on the Computerized Integrated Hajj System(Siskohat) of Makkah declared four pilgrims died.
"After Wukuf worship in Arafat, there are two Haj pilgrims from South Kalimantan and two Haj pilgrims from Central Kalimantan who died. Previously two South Kalimantan pilgrims died, so the number became six," he explained.
The pilgrim from South Kalimantan who died is Mahmudin Jamberi Hasan Baseri (62), a resident of Barabai, Central Hulu Sungai (HST). He died at the Hajj Medical Clinic of Indonesia (KKHI) Mina, September 1, 2017, due to heart problems.
The second is Suharto Samidin Sonorejo (75), the pilgrim from Tanah Laut, also died while being treated at KKHI Mina on 2 September 2017, due to respiratory diseases.
"Previously, South Kalimantan pilgrims who died were Surita Hartini Maserun (49) and Thanthatawi Dardjad Hasbullah (73), both came from Central Hulu Sungai," he said.
Meanwhile, the pilgrims from Central Kalimantan who died were Wahidah Antung Sidik (77) from South Barito on 31 August 2017 at KKHI Arafah due to respiratory illness, the second Zarkoni Asrof Muslim (57) from Katingan, on September 1, 2017, at KKHI Mina due to breathing interference.
"We hope no more pilgrims from our area who died. Hopefully, all Indonesian pilgrims are healthy to bring Mabrur pilgrimage to the homeland," he said.
Noor Fahmi said the schedule is the first flight group (kloter) of Banjarmasin Embarkation will return to the homeland on September 8 from Jeddah to arrive on September 9 at Syamsuddin Noor Airport, South Kalimantan.
"We have prepared to welcome the first flight group henceforth at Hajj Dormitory of Banjarmasin Embarkation," he said.
