Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - A total of 251 hajj pilgrims candidates from Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, embarkation who recorded a turn for the hajj this year had to be delayed.
Head of Hajj and Umrah Management of the South Kalimantan Office Ministry of Religion Affairs Syukeriansyah here on Wednesday, revealed, the 251 hajj candidates did not pay off Hajj Managament Cost (BPIH) in first stage from May 29 until June 10 at Rp37.583.508.
"Because of not paying off BPIH in appropriate time, then their deparure delayed and to leave for year to come," he said.
According to him, to meet the quota of Hajj for 3,050 people, the office will reopen the repayment BPIH phase two, during June 20 to 30. Criterias to repayment with a quota of 251 are for those who have been on pilgrimage before but in the entry for departure numbers.
"It also for separate husband and wife and the aged above 70 years who preferred to leave this year," he said.
Meanwhile, the departure of the pilgrims will be divided into 11 flight groups (keloter). "The departure of hajj pilgrims from our area scheduled to begin August 9," he said.
He said, the hajj from Banjarmasin Embarkation this year will be flown by Saudi Arabian Airlines with a capacity of 300 passengers to the Holy land of Mecca and Medina.
He also hoped the pilgrims in order to maintain their health, where the journey to fulfill the five pillars of faith is not light.
"For pilgrims who had declared departing this year in order to maintain their health, until a later date could set foot in the holy land and brought home safely as mabrur hajj," he said.
