Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Office's booth at the Saijaan Expo displayed the development in the infrastructure sector spread across the regency.
"This year's PUPR booth features a slightly different concept from previous years," said Head of PUPR Office Suprapti Tri Astuti in Kotabaru, Thursday.
According to Tuti, her nickname, the information presented at the Saijaan expo is the result of development carried out by the local government through PUPR, so that people will more aware of the process and results of ongoing development.
"This year we want the public to know more about PUPR, so that there are no misunderstandings regarding PUPR's authority with other agencies," she said.
Every day a quiz is held with direct prizes. Every visitor who comes is given the opportunity to see information about PUPR from the photos on the stands and information from videos about PUPR that are broadcast on television.
"The goal in the future is for the public to understand more about the duties and functions of PUPR and its authorities," said Tuti.
She also added that information about PUPR was also conveyed through podcasts, both related to PUPR and specific information at the agency.
At the Saijaa expo, PUPR also provided direct prizes in the form of t-shirts, mugs and other attractive prizes.
"We also held a competition about PUPR infrastructure, namely a photo and a tik-tok competition as well as a competition for most visits by assessing suggestions and input from the people who attended," said Tuti.
She hopes that the PUPR booth can provide more complete information about infrastructure development in Kotabaru.
