Barabai, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - President of the Republic of Indonesia H Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is planned to make a working visit to Central Hulu Sungai (HST) District, South Kalimantan, after the previous plan was postponed on February 3, 2021.
"Last night we received information on the arrival of RI-1 on February 17, but this morning and until afternoon from the provincial and the palace protocols (reported) the schedule is postponed to Thursday, February 18, 2021," said Acting District Secretary of HST H Faried Fakhmansyah when chairing the coordination meeting, Monday.
According to him, prior to HST, the President will first inaugurate Pipitak Dam in Tapin District. Then he goes on a helicopter to HST and lands at the Murakata Stadium or the command post of flood handling.
"At the stadium, there will be a brief explanation from the Regent regarding the condition and handling of the flood. The President then go to Baru Village, Waki, Batu Benawa Sub-district, to see the latest post-flood condition," said Faried.

The provincial government will prepare two cars, the regency three cars, while the President's car is brought directly from Jakarta.
He said the time allocation for the President to HST is about one hour. Although it is still a plan, it needs some preparation.
"People who are in the first ring or accompanying the President must have swab test, including Forkopimda (regional leadership forum of communication)," he said.
The President Security Detail (Paspampres) is also scheduled to come to HST tomorrow to prepare security and observe field conditions.
He instructed several heads of offices to make preparation, including the Youth, Sport, and Tourism Agency, the Environment and Land Agency, and PUPR Agency.
"We want this activity to be successful and run smoothly because he who will be coming is the number one person in Indonesia. Hopefully, it is safe and conducive," he said.
