Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin City Government will be evicting floating houses existing along Martapura River exactly in the Sungai Baru, Pekapuran Laut Village 2015.
Head of Governance Affairs of Banjarmasin City Government Iwan Ristianto on Monday said there are 12 rafting homes on Martapura River will be displaced.
"On the location to be built`, siring or embankment as to continue siring park of Piere Tendean or Pacinan Laut," he said at the local town hall.
12 homes to be evicted included in the exemption of 56 residential buildings along the banks of the river from Dewi Bridge to Pangeran Antasari Bridge with Rp24 billion budget.
"A 12 pieces of buildings and two places of worship were not yet paid fully in the last release in 2014. The plan is this year the balance is paid," said Iwan who previously served as Central Banjarmasin Sub-district Head.
Especially for lanting, the government does not compensate eviction by paying the calculation of land and buildings, but only given money mercy or ex-gratia.
"So just given ex-gratia of Rp1.5 million per unit of lanting," he said.
