Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The South Kalimantan Environment Agency (DLH) bestowedt wo elementary schools in the Tanah Bumbu District Adiwiyata award for their efforts to create environmentally friendly schools.
"The two schools are SDIT Dhia El Widad from Sungai Loban Sub-district, and SDN 8 Kampung Baru from Simpang Empat Sub-district," said Head of Tanah Bumbu Environment Agency Rahmat Prapto Udoyo through the Section Head of Environmental Capacity Building Siti Fatimah in Batulicin, Saturday.
The 2020 South Kalimantan Adiwiyata School Appreciation Award was handed over by Governor H. Sahbirin Noor and was also attended by the speaker of the provincial DPRD, Acting Provincial Secretary, as well as heads of Environment Offices across South Kalimantan.

She congratulated the two schools on the achievement, especially they both have brought the good name of the district at the provincial level.
She hopes that in the future the two schools can further improve their achievements, and transmit, and motivate other schools in Tanah Bumbu.
She also advised the schools to take part in the candidacy for the national level Adiwiyata.
