Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Banjarmasin City Government through the Water Resources and Drainage Agency (SDA) plan to develop an urban forest of rambai padi (Sonneratia sp).
Head of Banjarmasin SDA Muryanta at Wednesday acknowledged to reporters the desire to create an urban forest area of rambai padi. It is a mangrove plant species with its function to reduce the rate of abrasion.
The area that the city wants to be a rambai padi forest is a river neighborhood area of Jalan Jafri Zamzam, because the area will be used as a water tourist area.
